Michael Whittenburg
Enterprise Architect Β· IBM Β· GenAI & Azure
I'm a Band 9 Enterprise Architect at IBM's Microsoft Practice, where I help organizations navigate the intersection of enterprise AI, cloud strategy, and digital transformation. With 15+ years spanning architecture, consulting, and engineering leadership, I've seen what separates AI initiatives that ship from those that stall.
About The Architecture Brief
The Architecture Brief exists because most AI content is written for one of two audiences: developers who want to ship fast, or executives who want the buzzword bingo. There's a gap in the middle β the architects, engineering leads, and technical directors who actually have to make these systems work in complex, regulated, enterprise environments.
Every issue is a deep dive: real patterns, real failure modes, real architectural decisions. No fluff. If I wouldn't stake a production system on it, I don't write about it.
